  1. Decide you want the benefits of Rotary membership.

  2. Contact the Rocky Point Rotary Club via email if you live in the communities of Wading River, Rocky Point, Miller Place, Sound Beach, Ridge, Middle Island, Yaphank, Gordon Heights, Coram, Selden, East Shoreham, Shoreham or if you can attend weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 12:15 PM in Rocky Point on Long Island’s North Shore regardless of where you live.

  3. A Rocky Point Rotary Club member will get in touch with you to talk about your interest in Rotary. Share with them a bit about yourself, your expectations, interests, and preferences, and what you are looking for in a club.

  4. Attend a Rocky Point Rotary Club meeting, event, or even volunteer for a project, where you can get to know the club and its members better.

  5. Once you have spent some time getting to know the club and have both decided that you fit in with the rest of the club, you will be formally invited to join. The Rocky Point Rotary Club will welcome you in an induction ceremony.

  6. Congratulations, you are now a member of a global network who work at the grassroots level to make a monumental difference, one project at a time.

  7. In an increasingly complex and impersonal world, the weekly club meeting becomes a special privilege of Rotary membership. Every week it offers you the opportunity to visit with fellow members, to meet visitors you have not known before, to learn new things, and to share your personal friendship with other members.
